Buenos Aires Expat Hub is a BRAND NEW group for expats in Buenos Aires & Argentina, or those thinking about getting here. It is also for Argentines who are either living here or abroad.
The mission of the group is about sharing our experiences living in BsAs & Argentina, the challenges, worries, victories, and questions. And for people not here but contemplating a temp or long term move, to listen to their questions and concerns and give them answers and help.
Keep discussions focused on BsAs & Argentina. Any posts (threads) that start out not being about BsAs or Argentina will be removed. Members who make such posts will be sent a message reminding them of the group rules. If they continue to start threads not about BsAs or Argentina, they will be removed from the group.
No personal attacks - While debating and discussion is fine, rudeness and insulting or inflammatory posts will not be tolerated and the post and/or member may be removed without notice by an administrator.
Respect other members - While we are open to passionate discussions about passionate, please ensure your passion is directed at the subject matter, and not at showing a lack of respect to another member and insulting or denigrating them or their experiences.
Profanity - We're all adults, so while we don't want to ban all profanity of any kind, we reserve the right to ban any member if in our opinion it's directed at someone or is over the top.
No discussion of U.S. politics (sorry, just causes too many problems all round).
No discussion of religion that's aimed at promoting a particular faith, and no debates about religious doctrines and beliefs.
No racism or overt bigotry.
Advertising - Those who wish to post ads (incl personal blog posts) must also contribute to the general discussions about BsAs & Argentina, and avoid posting more than once every 8 days (and this includes "bumping" old posts to keep them top). Failure to do so could result in the ads being removed and user being removed from the group. If your first post on the group is an ad/personal link it will be removed and you will be sent a reminder message of these rules (or second or third post if your previous posts have been minimal in nature... I'm sure you get the drift of what we're after. If not please ask).
No links to inappropriate sites.
Any member that blocks any of the group admins will be removed from the group without notice.
