No illegal animals can be sold or rehomed from here. This includes pitbulls and other banned breeds of dogs – it also includes certain exotic reptiles. We are not reptile experts, so if anyone spots an illegal / restricted animal please let us know.
All puppies, kittens & other animals have to be minimum of 8 weeks old before they can be sold on this group. This is the age recommended by vets and animal welfare groups. All animals must be healthy and free from injury or illness unless clearly stated on the advert.
As of 1st November 2012, we no longer support the advertising of Stud Dogs or Bitches for sole use of breeding with...as we feel that there are too many unwanted dogs all desperate for a new home. This WILL, however, extend to all animals and not just dogs! Anyone found to be advertising their pet either out to stud or be studded then your post WILL be removed without warning, persistent posts and you will be removed and banned.
We cannot be held responsible for any sales within this group, If there is a problem please take it up with the seller/buyer.
HOMECHECKS should be done for all pets, if you cannot do one then please ask Admin who will be able to put you in touch with experienced volunteer's who can carry this out for you. It is your responsibility to ensure your pet is going to a good home. If you have any doubts about someone do not sell to them, or buy from them.
When posting an ad, please post a photo, your location, a price and as much info as possible, this saves people asking questions.So if it’s a pet you are selling please inc whether he/she is chipped, wormed/flea’d to date, vaccinated to date with records, whether boy/girl, age and if neutered/spayed. Please make sure that all info is correct. If you are selling pups/kittens/baby rabbits etc please also add their date of birth and also age and a date when they can leave mum.
We will no longer allow the sale of pets which DO NOT belong to the poster. This means you can no longer sell pets for anyone else. We have stopped this because of problems in the past where someone is helping someone out and things go wrong. Repeat posts will result in an instant ban. This WILL NOT affect any RESCUE from posting.
