1- Be polite, or you will be deleted. When you are inquiring on an item, for your protection keep the messages between you and the seller/buyer until you have gotten your merchandise and it’s okay. This will help the admins to determine who is right or wrong, since we have no way of accessing your mail.
2- Drama will not be tolerated. Negative comments on other people's posts will not be tolerated... they will be deleted, and so will you!
3 – In order to advertise a business you MUST BE LOCAL! If you are not in the State of VA or within driving distance of South Boston, VA you are not welcome to post your ad. This applies to those selling home-made jewelry, Avon, Mary Kay, Thirty One products, etc. Also please be sure to include a contact number, or email.
4- Once an item has sold please remove your post or leave a comment of "Sold" under your item so that admin can remove it.
5- No Show's will be banned.
6- NO PROFANITY.
7- PRICES must be included with all ads! Along with other relevant information such as sizes, colors, measurements, etc. (Best offer, Make an offer, etc is NOT ok – those ads will be deleted) Ads not containing a price will be deleted.
8- NO WEAPONS!! NO FIREARMS, AMMUNITION, PAINTBALL GUNS, BB GUNS, BOWS, ETC.

9- You may only “bump” your posts 1 TIME every 8 HOURS. Duplicate ads will not be allowed, whether posted by the same person or by two people. Each member is limited to
10 ads per day (bumps or new posts). If you have more than 10 items to sell, create an album and make sure you include all information/prices with each picture! If you post/bump more than 10 per day, they will be deleted by an administrator and the poster will be warned. After several warnings, you will be removed from the group. PLEASE make sure you ONLY post 10 items/photos a day and NOT 10 albums a day. PLEASE only bump your entire album, not each individual photo. If you bump more than once in the 8 hour period your post will be deleted! NO EXCEPTIONS NO WARNINGS!!
10- If you are running a business in town, please give the yard sale people on the page a chance to sell their items first before promoting your business.
11- Do not blackball members.
12- The SOUTH BOSTON YARD SALE group is not responsible or liable for any sale/bad items/bad deals that result from this group.
13. MODEL NUMBERS must be included with all cell phone ads or they will be deleted.
14. No work from home, shoe ads, or "how to make money" ads. These ads will be deleted and so will the poster.
15. Ads for items listed with a price higher than the actual retail value are not acceptable. This Yard Sale page is not the proper selling platform for that type of sale, regardless of the reason... or the season.
