Welcome to Redlands Online Garage Sales (ROGS) We are an online garage sale site for people living in Redlands, Queensland, Australia.

The site is specifically for residents of the Redlands and the immediate surrounding suburbs. Items listed for sale from outside of these areas will be deleted without warning. Items for sale in suburbs immediately surrounding the Redlands (ie: Chandler, Wynnum/Manly etc) can only be listed on the condition that the seller states in their post that they are willing to meet within the Redlands for delivery at least once per week.
We have very specific site rules which are enforced, it is a condition of selling on the site that you read these as soon as you are accepted onto the site (members are tagged in a welcome message with the site rules attached when they are accepted). Failure to follow the site rules will see you removed from the site. A brief description of what our site is about is detailed below.
This site is only for second hand and one-off new items (unwanted gifts etc) We do not allow any of the following: Business advertising or selling. No items such as excess stock, old stock, multiple items (including when items are purchased in bulk off ebay etc and only one was wanted) Home businesses, Hobby sales such as homemade items being made to sell etc, Fresh Produce and homemade food/jams etc or food products that are out of date or opened. No animal sales, only free to good home however these must follow all laws and guidelines to be allowed to be given away (animal rehoming posts fall under separate site rules which are detailed in the rules)
All items for sale must be clearly and honestly described. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the item they are collecting is as described and in working condition, if it is not then a buyer is not under any obligation to follow through with the sale.
Sellers are responsible for maintaining their own posts. All items not commented on by the seller for 5 days or more will be deleted. Posts are to be deleted as soon as contact has been made by both parties – NOT when item has been collected. Failing to delete your own items may see you removed from the site.
We want our site to be a friendly and successful place to buy and sell and many people have created friendships on the site. We do not tolerate negative or abusive behaviour and will remove anyone without apology if we feel it is necessary.
