Post your for sale item here. Please include a description of the item along with item price. Any imperfections also need to be listed.
Photos are highly encouraged. Please go to the right side under "view albums" and create your own album with photos.
Once the item for sale has a commited buyer, please put "Pending" under the post. This way we know that someone has already contacted you via your post or facebook message.
***Rule of thumb seems to be that the first person who posts on the actual fb post gets first dibs. Not the first person tagged, first person who can meet you or the first person give you an offer you want. Sellers you must reply in the order that buyers show interest. If you have time constraints (need to meet by x amt of time), you MUST state that in the description. Buyers need to schedule a time to meet right away. We do NOT say "Sold for x amt". Don't try and "steal" items from others bc you will pay a higher price. It goes order of the people who post. If a buyer offers $5 for an $10 item, & seller declines, the same buyer has the opportunity to pay full price before going to the next person "in line". If that person passes, the next person has the opportunity to purchase.
*Analogy*You wouldn't take an item out of someone's hands at a yard sale while they are asking the seller if they will take less, or while they ask questions about an item. Be respectful and wait your turn!
SELLERS-Please give buyers 24hrs to respond before passing to the next in line. BUYERS-If you show interest in an item-- please check back within 24hrs to see if the seller has responded to your offer/question.
Please REMOVE your post once your item sells. It will keep the main page current.
Please be respectful, communicate, and show up when you say you will. Please don't use harassment/bullying or any other unbecoming behavior. If needed, people will be banned.
Please don't spam the boards. Local businesses and MDO directors are welcome to post about openings, community information, etc. I ask that no one post anything repeatedly. Your original post stays with this page until deleted by yourself or an admin. I ask the same of yard sale posts. No single item is to be deleted and reposted continuously. Those who choose to receive e-mail notifications don't want to continuously get the same notification for the same thing. Feel free to "bump" your initial post every 24hrs for those who only skim the top.

If you don't currently live in or close to Seymour, you need to be willing to come to Seymour to conduct your transaction. If you live in another county, don't expect the seller to drive to you. Always meet in a safe place. I recommend Kroger by the recycling bins or Weigels in the 15min parking.
