03/05/2014 I decided to fill up my flask with hot tea and wonder into town and offer it to the homeless on a COLD Saturday night..
I didn't have much luck as there was a street party happening so I posted on a few FB (for sale) sites asking the community if they knew where they, the homeless hang out ??
It seemed that I wasn't alone and not the only one who would offer their Saturday nights to help. So here's this group I've called Lend A Hand To Ipswich Homeless. I'm a mum of 2 and studying dip of Community Services Case Management and my dream is to work with youth, i never thought in my wildest dreams that i would create something like this and feed the homeless with the community's support. I hope with the help of the community WE can create something beautiful and help those who need it most and fill in the caps :)
