Maricopa Motorcycle Riders

Maricopa Motorcycle Riders is a N/A group. Having alot of group type in Facebook: close, open and secret and it is a CLOSED group. Maricopa Motorcycle Riders has 512 members. So it is a Small group. You can find this group by searching 258731434171661 on Google, Bing or Yahoo. 2015-03-08 02:23:38 is the closest date we have information about it.

We are a group of riders mostly from the City of Maricopa in Pinal County Arizona, but you don't have to live in Maricopa to join us. We are not a "motorcycle club", there are no dues to pay, there is no probation period, we have a logo but we have no “colors”. What we are is a group of riders who wanted a place to chat and organize rides throughout AZ and the South West. The only other condition to join is a desire to ride!

With the idea of attracting other local interested motorcycle enthusiasts, we accept anyone who rides even as a passenger. We are a varied group of individuals that enjoys socializing, but most importantly we are about riding. Don't let the name fool you; we will accept people who live outside Maricopa!

Our group is made up of members from all walks of life who ride cruisers, sport, touring and custom bikes. So if you ride a Harley or metric you are 100% welcome! Our goal is to meet and make new friends and plan rides to a variety of motorcycle events. Just know that we have seen strong friendships forged as our family of bikers grows. We hope to a group that can give the biker community an image of respectable citizens while at the same time giving back by participating and planning fundraisers for local charities.

What sets us apart from the rest is that while always keeping safety first, members have the opportunity to join a family that never leaves a rider behind!
The purpose of riding in an organized group instead of an undisciplined pack is to provide the additional safety that a well-organized group inherently generates. This comes from within the group and from the outside. When a group rides in an orderly fashion, people don't get in each other’s way, and the organization of the formation itself discourages cars from attempting to cut in. Once riding rules have been adopted by a group, EVERYONE riding with that group is expected to follow them. Anyone violating the rules and compromising safety, will be warned, and if their actions continue, will no longer be welcome to ride with the group. Details may vary from one group to another, sometimes because of the style of riding they do, or sometimes because there are a number of reasonable options, so they choose the one they prefer.

Addendum: I created this group as a way to make friends and foster a community centered on motorcycles... If I post stuff not related to motorcycles once in a while suck it up, sorry.
