Stroller Warriors® Camp Pendleton is a free running support group for military spouses and active duty members. Training partners provide camaraderie and make training more enjoyable and successful. This group fosters new friendships with people of common goals and interests. Our sessions provide strength training after the runs and a playgroup for our children.
This group does not demand a standard. We provide the workout and simply ask that you do your best. There is no need to be nervous; we promote a positive, comfortable environment for women of ALL ability levels to run together. Strollers and children are NOT required. Our group includes a wide range of runners, from beginners to marathoners. So newbie runners, do not be intimidated! You'll love and need the support, and therefore, this is a perfect place to get started.
Stroller Warriors was founded in Camp Lejeune in 2010 and has seen great success! Stroller Warriors now has numerous chapters at military installations worldwide. Stroller Warriors compete in races as a club, support fundraising efforts for charities, and participate in local community service.
Workouts are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30am on asphalt/hard packed trails on and around Camp Pendleton. Our running workout is usually 40 minutes, followed by core/circuit training and play time. Event invites will always relay the details.
We offer many opportunities to get involved. Our events tab relays schedule and details. Be sure to read all details so you can stay on top of club activities. If you have an event idea please contact leadership staff and we will assist you. Please refrain from creating event invites without prior permission.
