The "Smithsonian" Singers where an elite group of young men, women and musicians whom ministerd through song singing or playing traditional gospel music to negro spirituals and classical music. The Smithsonian Singers performed for dignitaries such as Maya Angelo, Mrs.Coretta Scott King, Johnnie Cochran and former Mayor Ron Kirk just to name a few. This page was created to honor A.Maceo Smith High School, The Smithsonian Singers and our beloved choir director Rheamond D. Greer.
