* This is a people to sell or swap their unwanted items, not to trade goods, so no business posts please. No handmade items either. - there are other pages for that.
*Please respect the 1st offer on each item. Ask to be considered if an offer fails.
* Include a description/ condition (inc size) price and your location. Be specific about what you want to avoid confusion or embarrassment.
* ONE image per post please. Or an app that puts multiple photos into one image. This avoids confusion of people commenting on different photos of the same album, leaving the seller unsure of who came first.
* We limit 'bumping' to once in 24hrs.
* Tagging; if the SELLER tags a member of the group on an item that person will have first dibs. Tag someone you think would like an item in comments as this seems to work really well, but it will be the first person that comments in person that will get first dibs otherwise!
* Please take any comment, be it "yes please", "ITB", or asking a question, as intent to buy and make that buyer 1st in the queue. Then move through queue in order. Give people 24 hours to respond before moving to next in line.
* NO business posts! (If someone ask for a plumber for example by all means offer your services within comments).
* Don't use this group as advertising space as it will clog the page and you will be removed without warning. However, charity events you wish post can be approved by admin.
* NO selling items whose sale is restricted by law. No selling alcohol, fireworks, weapons, etc. Not sure if swapping gets around the problems, but probably best avoided. Penalties for selling alcohol inc 6 months and a £20k fine. Any posts selling such items may be removed without further notice.
* NO selling of animals. If you are rehoming a pet it is your responsibility that the new home is a good one and that no money changes hands. If Admin feel an animal is at risk the post will be removed with out warning.
* We will not tolerate bullying. Tag or PM an Admin if you have concerns, however please don't add your own views. You WILL be removed if we feel any members are being bullied.
* Be kind to each other- we're a community, not a business. And remember keep safe contact each other directly with personal details.
* While we love your enthusiasm please keep your photos to max 20 at one time to let everyone have a turn.
* No albums, please post individually. They can cause mass confusion
