Facebook isn't perfect and we all let things slip through the cracks sometimes too! ...... So, I wanted to share a few helpful hints for making this page a better success for all of you!
■First and foremost, BE FRIENDLY!! :-)
■When listing an item, for best results, please include all of the following:
■Item description
■Price
■Preferred contact method
■Picture (chances are, you will be asked for this anyway)
■Understand that everyone has different Facebook settings. This makes it difficult to know how to contact one another. If you do not list a contact method, be sure to check back often for comments to your post. You may not always receive Facebook notifications. It can be frustrating for those who are interested in your item to not be able to message you and not get a response on their comment.
■This is not a private Facebook page, so anyone can view the information that is posted. Please be cautious when posting a phone number or address.
■When an item is sold, please either delete your post or add a comment SOLD to the post.
■Please be considerate and follow through with the arrangements you made with someone on the sale or purchase of an item!
■When you are on the page, make sure "Most Recent" is selected toward the top right. If it shows "Top Posts", you will not see all the postings.
■If you have multiple items to sell, you can create an album on your personal Facebook page, and then post a link to that album. This helps keep the page a little more organized too.
PLEASE be considerate and do not post your item more than once a week. Also, if someone else has already posted the same type/brand of product, wait a few days to make your post… That way everyone has a chance to sell that item they really want to get rid of.
