NUGS – BELGOROD (a sub union or local NUGS Branch of Ghanaian students in the city of Belgorod, Russia) is a democratic, non-partisan, independent and progressive Mass Movement of Ghana students in the city of Belgorod, Russia that aims:
1. To protect and safeguard the rights and interests of all Ghana students in Belgorod, Russia.
2. To offer a common platform:
a. For the discussion of issues and problems affecting all students.
b. For the expression of student opinions on matters of national and international concern.
c. For the co-ordination of student activities.
d. To inculcate in students the spirit of solidarity and patriotism.
3. To promote co-operation, understanding and friendship amongst the students of Belgorod, other Ghanaian students in different cities/parts of Russia and other students in Russia.
4. To inculcate in students a high sense of discipline, active participation and a sense of revolutionary awareness of our cultural heritage and offer the means by which they can advance this heritage.
5. To advance the concept of Pan-Africanism and to foster unity amongst Ghana students and other students of African descent in Belgorod and Russia as a whole.
