The Smash Test Betties are the Reign Valley Vixens Roller Derby League's fresh meat squad. We welcome new skaters at any time during the year. There are no try outs, simply come to a Betties practice and we'll teach you everything you need to know. There is no commitment required until your fourth practice - at your fourth practice you are officially a Smash Test Bettie!
The Vixens offer a supportive enviornment where you progress at your own pace. We skill test through out the year so you will have the opportunity to play as soon as you are ready.
All skaters are required to have a helmet, mouth guard, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards and roller skates. Inline roller blades can be used for the first few practices. If you don't have all your gear, just let as know as we have some available to borrow.
