FAST gala is a thread that weaves it all together. It takes a year filled with seizures, lack of sleep, behaviors, struggles, accomplishments, milestones, diagnoses, anniversaries, fundraisers, awareness, and relationships and allows you to embrace it and celebrate it, to let it go if you need to. It fosters friendships, nurtures marriages, and reminds us what it was like to just have fun. It's not like most formal events where you get all worked up only to have it be less than expected.
