We Are… a recently founded, volunteer-based donation program for local
shelter pets. We aim to provide a monthly package of the vital supplies shelters rely on to maintain & entertain their four-legged residents awaiting adoption.
Our Founder… is Certified Veterinary Technician, Ashleigh Wesner, &
Reading, PA-native. Ashleigh graduated from Wilson College with a
Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medical Technology & Minor in
Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship. She has a “zoo” at
home, including a former shelter pet named, Eva, an American Pitbull Terrier.
Our Goal… is to get the community involved in this program by reaching
out to local schools, businesses, & organizations throughout Berks
County. Ultimately, we hope to create widespread community participation & bring awareness to the plight shelters face when taking in & caring for an increasing number of homeless & abandoned animals.

What We Are Going to Do in 2012… is collect food & other supplies
once a month for the Animal Rescue League of Berks County. Monetary donations will be accepted as well, but for the purpose of purchasing such supplies. We would like to collect donations for kittens/adult cats, puppies/small adult dogs, large dogs, & pocket pets. All donated supplies will be collected by a TBD date by the founder.
You Can Help By… volunteering to help organize the donations, provide
your establishment as a source of advertising the program and/or receiving donations, or donating supplies.
Rewards for Helping Include… TBD monthly promotional deals &
inclusion of the donor and/or donor’s business/organization in the
donation package to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
