A fun group created with our dogs' best interest in mind. It's a place where dogs and owners can socialize with other dachshunds and the people they own.
Since this is a fun group that was formed in the best interest of the pups; this is not a group for people who are interested in breeding their dogs, finding a mate for their dogs, or promoting any dogs they may have bred or plan to breed. Please leave that to experienced breeders.
We encourage our members to get their dachshunds from reputable, registered breeders or from a rescue. Do your research and never rush into getting a puppy. All dachshunds are "cute", however this is never a reason to breed them. Hopefully these practices will put an end to “Backyard Breeders” and puppy mills. Please do not post anything on this page about wanting to breed your dog, regardless of the reason. Your post will be removed immediately and if it continues you may be blocked from our page.
The pups don’t necessarily have to be fixed to be in the club (it’s preferred of course because there are intact puppies in the group from time to time), but we do ask that they be up to date on their vaccinations.
