The subject matter of this project is to select one of my Sonnets; one that appeals to you personally. Based on this graphic image take many walks in Venice, using it as a kind of metaphysical map. You have to searvvch for the unexpected coincidence of
this image with space, event, and the light of the city. Take a series of 21 photographs of this unexpected phenomenon. This is not merely a metaphorical exercise nor an academic search for obvious analogies, but a poetic equivalent of the images you
take to the images you selected.
The Sonnets are presented in visual form, analogous to their literary origins. The twenty-one images that you create will be considered a work of Architecture in photographic sonnet form. Please include one short paragraph of writing.
The exhibited images will be selected from the image series, printed on glossy A0 photographic paper, and shown at the Venice Biennale.
I consider your contribution important to the subject matter of Venice, the Soul, Dreams and Reality.
