BAF was named Baguio Auto Club before and the site was on a .tk during that time. We only started with less than 25 or less than 30 folks sharing ideas and passion on cars. Our very first meet was in front of Filling Station way back 2009. Over the years our numbers grew and people helped out and chipped in buying our own domain and this is when Baguio Auto Forums was the agreed name. Why forums? and not club? Because before, our main objective was this is a group of online community folks sharing ideas about their passion, cars. Forums also because we want to remove the notion of an exclusive car club. People even want to make it an official group and register it to SEC (securities and exchange commission) and elect officers but majority of the group disagreed because this will be just like politics and will only make things worst. So we only have site moderators and administrators to keep the site from clean and fun. These people also acts as organizers for certain occasions and also mediators for issues that needs to be resolved between 2 parties. So this is why there are no group president, etc.
