The organization was organized on February of 2010 and on February 212 was Re-organized through the encouragement of members and was named Filipino Literacy Society or FLS.
FLS is one of the TANDEM Group of OWWA and its projects. Which main purpose is to provide free for a broad technical education to all Filipinos in Cyprus. Through trainings and other OWWA projects, Filipinos may enhance and uplift values, knowledge and talent. Trainings could also be a profitable learning and additional source of income.
