これまで、ウィーン・フィルのコンサートマスターのウェルナー・ヒンク、ダニエル・ゲーデ、第2ヴァイオリン首席のティボール・コヴァーチ、ソロ・チェリストのフランツ・バルトロメイ、タマーシュ・ヴァルガ、ソロ・クラリネットのペーター・シュミードルの各氏、ウィーン・ピアノ四重奏団をはじめ、ザルツブルク・モーツァルテウム弦楽四重奏団、フランスのアンサンブル・モンソロなどと共演を重ねている。
団体名の「フィルムージカ」とは、古典ギリシャ語で「フィル＝～を愛する人」＋「ムージカ＝音楽」で「音楽を愛する人」という意味である。

Werner Hink(former concertmaster of The Vienna Philharmonic), Daniel Gaede(former concertmaster of The Vienna Philharmonic), Tibor Kovác(section leader of the second violins of the Vienna Philharmonic), Franz Bartolomey(solo cellist of The Vienna Philharmonic), Tamás Varga(solo cellist of The Vienna Philharmonic), Peter Schmidl(former solo clarinet of The Vienna Philharmonic), Vienna Piano Quartet and Ensemble Monsolo have so far appeared on the stage with Ensemble Philmusica Tokyo.
