We can post about apts or houses, rides, babysitting, quick favors, chessed opportunities, job offers, social outings, neighborhood recommendations, schools / shuls, local events, items to sell / buy or even just to shmooze. Some quick advice / guidelines to think about when posting;
* Too much advertising clogs up space and gives the group an impersonal, business oriented feel. Its fine to share sales and promotions of local stores. If you have your own business, please only post once a month about it. For an upcoming event, you can remind people once a week and the day of. * If you are recommending a person or business, please add a phone number, email address or other way to contact them. Just a name is often not sufficient.
