Travis Alexander was an exceptional individual who made a positive impact on others in his life. His generosity was beyond compare, and he served as a positive example to those around him. Travis not only had hopes and aspirations for his own life; he had hopes and aspirations for the lives of those around him. He motivated others to be the best they could be and did what he could to help them realize their capabilities.
Travis coined the phrase "The difference between a stepping stone and a stumbling block is the individual walking the path." It was his way of encouraging others to live life in the most positive way.
Travis love traveling. He discovered the book "1000 Places to See Before you Die" and made it his personal goal to see those 1000 places in his lifetime. Unfortunately, his life was needlessly ended due to an act of domestic violence. His goal was never realized.
However, in only one year Travis was successful in checking off roughly 30 places off the list. If his life was not cut short, it is highly likely Travis would have reached his goal. All he had to do is continue to see 30 places a year and within 30 years, at the age of 60 his goal would have been met. However, his abuser robbed him of ever achieving that milestone.
