Some of you are aware of Dad's (aka Randy, Doc, Dr. L, Norm, Dr. Lofgren, and Norman R.) on-again/off-again battle with cancer for over seventeen years and the positive way he has fought through it. It now appears that the disease is claiming the upper hand in the battle. Scans done at the end of September showed the cancer that originated in the bladder, and for which the bladder was removed in 2010, has reappeared in the abdomen and pelvic areas and is inoperable. You will not be surprised that he is putting a brave face on this challenge. Wendy and I thought it would be appropriate, and much appreciated by Dad (and Mom for that matter), to hear from those he has influenced over the years. So, if you would like to contribute your own recollections and/or thoughts, we are providing this space for your comments, thoughts, videos, or pictures.
