I don't know if any of you saw Matt's post about his album, Sonder, but he's donating all the proceeds to buying clothing for the homeless this winter and I think I want to do something similar, but I want to include you guys somehow as well.
I really like what Boys Noize did with his album 'Out of the Black', which was to feature a bunch of artists he liked by putting their remixes of his album tracks all on a separate 'remix album', not only as a good way to market the album but also as a really helpful way to showcase to his audience a wide variety of different artists and sounds. 100% of the proceeds will go to charity, and I'll be posting the receipts so that everyone knows I'm not just profiting from everyone's good will.
Because of this, I'm launching this remix album project well in advance of the album release, and this is the group for it.
