This is a group to post FREE items and services, or items/services that you're In Search Of (ISO). The group is designed to help those in need (by "need," I mean that you need the item/service & will use it). So, please, only take items/svcs you're in need of, and once you receive an item(s), it's yours, however it is not allowed for you to collect items just so you can sell them on another page/group/site. If you're caught doing so, you will be removed from the group and added to the "banned list;" administrators from similar groups will be notified. Currently, this group is public, but once we reach a certain number of members, we will move to a closed group permanently, so please INVITE OTHERS!
Here are a few key rules to go by (violating rules will be cause for dismissal from the group):
* When posting an item, please indicate if you've posted it on other page (cross-posted). This is important so others don't feel you've skipped their comments of interest.
* Please include your approximate vicinity and pertinent information about the item(s) you're posting.
* This is not a "first come, first serve" page. We are here to HELP people in need. Part of helping is being patient. Patience is not only a virtue, it's also an act of kindness, and this page is ALL ABOUT being kind. If you post an item/items, you must go down the line in order of those who COMMENTED (not private messaged), stating they are interested. The giver must give 12 hours for the person to respond AND set up a time to either meet or pick up. This DOES NOT mean the receiver has to pick up within 12 hours, it simply means the person has to have made an arrangement with you to either pickup or meet you to get the item. We all have hectic lives. You may not skip people, and you cannot try to "jump the line" by Private Messaging (PM) someone to get the items before the others who have already expressed interest in the comments (any giver or receiver caught doing this will be banned immediately)! For those who aren't aware: PMs are not always received by people in groups like this unless they are your personal friends on Facebook (FB). In other words, FB puts all new PMs into a folder titled "other," and unless someone tells you it's there, you likely will not know because FB will not notify you of this! So, it is IMPERATIVE that you comment "interested" on the post if you're the first person to comment. Write "in line" if you're interested, but others are ahead of you to pick up an item/items. Often times, the 2nd/3rd/4th person gets the item(s)! :) So, good luck!
