Six corporations own 90 percent of all media in America. The media has become a part of the military-industrial complex. The recent announcement of the Koch Brothers intending on spending 900 million to influence the 2016 presidential election, virtually assures the media will steer us towards a Bush v. Clinton faceoff.

The largest voting block in America are Independents, followed by Democrats and then Republicans. Since Nixon, Republicans have relied upon a racist southern strategy to lock in the southern states and an NRA-gun campaign to secure the prairie states.

Bernie Sanders and Jess Ventura have both been elected as independents. These candidates would draw heavily among independents; Sanders would draw the progressive wing from the Democrats; and Ventura's presence on the ticket would finally help to break the lockhold Republicans have held on the south and the mid-west.

The populist nature of this ticket could become a godsend for the people who have long felt they've been shut out of the system. The table would be set for people power vs. money power.

I've formed this group as a coffee group discussion to challenge the strong possibility that the media will spoon feed the public with a Bush v. Clinton option. Please invite your friends to join into the discussion -- thanks!
