We are trying to keep our neighborhood, HERON BAY intact and our children in their current school, HERON HEIGHTS.
This is just one of many forums that allows us to speak up about the boundary process and proposed changes. As a resident, your input is CRUCIAL and we need your support!
- Call our School Board member, Abby Freedman at 954-235-9764 who represents our district and express your concerns! We need to let her know we will NOT stand for the crazy proposals that "ship" our kids almost 1 hour away from their neighborhoods!
- We also need as many people as possible to call the eight additional School Board members to garner their support in our fight. They need to be made aware of this boundary change affecting our community. Here are their names and numbers:

One of the MAIN reasons we all choose to love in Parkland/Coral Springs is because of the amazing schools we have. We choose to pay all the money we pay to live in Heron Bay because we want our kids to go to their neighborhood school!
This is not just about Parkland uniting, it is about HERON BAY uniting as a community! We are one community and as such, we must fight to keep our children in their current school!
Let us focus on modulars and let us focus on using our VOTES to choose BETTER qualified people to represent us on the school board!
Today it can be Heron Bay getting segregated, tomorrow it can be the neighborhood next door! We need better planning, better projections and better numbers when neighborhoods are developed!
