Our list of guidelines is as follows to ensure everyone feels welcome and we all can make this a positive learning environment, as is intended. We are a RESCUE based group, and discussions about breeding or promoting breeding or breeders are NOT allowed. Feel free to ask questions, resell bird related items, find a bird companion, rehome your bird, or just share pictures and talk about birds!
1.No selling of baby birds. If your baby is truly a rescue, we will help anyway we can but we do not allow breeders to sell babies here or to promote their breeding business/hobby; we do not agree with feeding the breeding cycle. We do allow craigslist ads to be posted, however it is YOUR responsibility to determine their legitimacy.
2. Keep Drama to a minimum. If you have a problem with someone in the group, please address it privately and not on the public forum.
3.Birds bought from members of this group are not intended for breeding, to be resold or flipped. Please take in birds with the intention of providing them with a forever home with you. If you have proof that members are flipping, or reselling birds bought from this page, please let admin know and the issue will be handled accordingly.
4.Be respectful. Bullying, insults, or harassment will not be tolerated.
5.Obvious self-promotion will not be tolerated. (I.e. posting links to your other FB groups, blogs, online store, a breeder’s contact info, or business location.) If you want to share this information with the group, please ask Admin first (list of Admins in Member’s Section) and we will determine whether it will be posted or not.
6.Lastly, no strong references to race, color, religious, or sexual preferences. We have a wide range of people here and everyone is welcome if they stay within the group guidelines.
7.This is a Bird group. All pictures, comments, and posts should be bird related.
*If any of the above mentioned guidelines are not followed, you will be subject to removal or being blocked. If you notice something you’ve posted has been removed, it was because it did not stay within the group’s guidelines.
