The Bahawalpur (princely state) was one of the largest states of British India, more than 450 kilometres long, and was Ruled by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi (V) Bahadur, who decided to join Pakistan at the time of independence in 1947. Bahawalpur (also Bhawalpur or Bhawulpore) (Urdu: بہاولپور) is the capital city of Bahawalpur District located in , Punjab Pakistan. The population is 403,408, Saraiki is the local language of the area while Urdu, English and Punjabi are also spoken.

The ideology of making this group was and will remain to provide a platform to all those who are directly/indirectly connected to Bahawalpur or want to visit, share relate themselves with Bahawalpur.
However, to keep the group clean and friendly, we have set up a “Code of Conduct” , which we request all members to follow.

1) Member can post anything except political/religious/unethical contents.
2) Respect for each other. Avoid harsh discussions which can include personal hits, however discussing anything with your own opinion without annoying, insulting or irritating other members is fine
3. This is a Non-Financial/non-commercial group, which means it does not support any Advertisement/publicity/job posting. However, if a member wants to put some advertisement of event related to #Bahawalpur, it should be first approved by any of the admin.
4. Informative pages and links can be shared; however it shouldn't be indicating promotions of other non-related pages or groups.
5. Avoid providing personal information,personal pictures are not allowed.
6. Since the number of Members/volumes are so high, our tolerance level has gone too low... you might not get a second chance to fix your mistake. Better avoid in the first attempt :-)
