Welcome! This group is a forum for Bernards PEC Members, a support and educational group for parents with children receiving special educational services.
Purpose
Our goal is to give families the skills and support they need to help their child with special needs to reach his/her full potential. Our hope is for families to feel less isolated and more confident about themselves and their role as advocates. Our objectives include the following: educating ourselves about special education rights and our role as advocates for our children, networking to learn more about the services that are available within and outside our district, offering emotional support for parents when they learn their child has special needs and partnering with the school district to ensure quality programs and positive outcomes for our children.

To protect privacy, this is a CLOSED group which means members are by invite or request only.
Guidelines
Please extend courtesy and respect to fellow members at all times. This is a place to support each other and engage in meaningful discussion, not to hurt one another. Please refrain from inflammatory and defamatory comments and general disrespect. If you disagree with another’s opinion, please explain why respectfully.
