Welcome new members! Thanks for joining us here at Furry Friends. We hope you’ll make yourself right at home and become active members. Please take a moment to read through the ‘Group Guidelines’ below.
> Please be courteous and respectful to other members. We will not tolerate rude or negative behavior. As animal lovers, our passion sometimes leads us to say things that others consider out of line. This includes derogatory or bashing comments against other groups, rescues, organizations or admins. If there is a problem with such groups please discuss the matter in private or PM one of the admin staff.
> We do NOT allow buying/selling/or trading of animals on this site. Posters doing so will have their comments deleted, and habitual behavior will have you banned. We DO allow rehoming fees related to vet expenses such as spay & neuter/vacs etc. Please keep vet receipts as documentation. We do encourage members to vaccinate foster animals before sending them to their new owners.> We also strongly encourage pre-adoption spaying/neutering if possible. If the animal is too young for spay/neuter or the adopters would like to take the animal sooner, we recommend arranging a pre-pay for the procedure with your vet at the adopter’s expense. We must try and do our part to control the over population!
> When it comes to adoption, we recommend delivering the animal to the home yourself, to see if the environment is suitable. Help with home checks can be arranged upon request. *Please always have someone go with you for the home check/home delivery, for your own safety.
> For our community outreach activities, volunteers will be needed and greatly appreciated! We host adoption events bi weekly to help members rehome their pets. We also have a bi monthly event where we Adopt A Rescue and help a chosen rescue raise funds and supplies for that month. We encourage all our members to participate and help us help our community and the animals!
>We are allowing links from other groups for pets in need, so if you see any animals in need on another group please feel free to share the link to the animal picture/info so we can help in any way we can! If you are a rescue feel free to share on our page!
>NO double postings of the same animal. As a poster you are responsible for bumping your own post. Feel free to ask members to help keep it bumped they are awesome at helping!
> Auctions to raise funds are allowed for established rescues but need to be coordinated with an admin before.
