AGENDA: Get NMC recognition and bring all of ALUMNI of NMC from all over the world on one platform.
DISCUSSION:
We gathered in Chicago to fulfill the urge to recognize our college by initiating constructive work for our nation and college.The discussion started with various ways for our college to be recognized & decided to start a charity clinic in Karachi. This would be a model clinic for future clinics. This clinic in Karachi , Gulshen-e-Iqbal, will be under the name of NMC Alumni. For this, Shoukat Moin offered her NGO registered in Pakistan whichis dormant at the moment, because she moved to the USA . This will save a lot of time and effort of registration.It was also decided that we will get the name of NGO changed to NMC ALUMNI Clinic.
In addition to a full time doctor, it was suggested that there would be visiting (NMC Graduates) consultants provided to that clinic from all over the world.
A bank account will be opened for charitable donations, the equipment required, medicines and maintenance of the clinic.
We are grateful to our seniors from first batch who made history by making the existence of this college possible. Here they are again making history by their support and participation of this idea of bringing everyone together. Hats off to all of you.
