The purpose of this group will be for Quora employees and active writers to discuss Quora-related topics. This group will be moderated by Quora employees, and Be Nice, Be Respectful will apply This group will be used to get feedback from writers about new products and features.
Members can also use the group to discuss broad, Quora-related issues and ideas that affect many people. Although notification of meetups and other programs will continue happening through Quora, this will probably be the best place for discussion of details, logistics, etc.
Thoughts on meetups, suggestions for meetup locations, and nominations for Top Writers are great, this group should not be used for discussing non-Quora related topics such as politics or current events. Questions about moderation policy are welcome, but specific questions about threads or Quorans are not; those should be reported to moderation via the reporting feature on Quora. Major bug reports are OK, but will likely not be as effective as bugs reported to bugs@quora.com, which is actively monitored by the Quora Ops team. The exception being for cases where we're actively working with this group for the occasional product beta.
