SEOUL FLYER FACEBOOK ETIQUETTE:
Facebook is the primary means of communication to our members. Over time we have established a simple system of Event Creation to keep our members engaged in upcoming Seoul Flyer events as well as posting running related posts and pictures. Remember that posting on the Seoul Flyer Facebook page is a privilege for both paid and non-paid members. Occasionally we have had people post things not running related or unauthorized events. We’ve maintained a fairly strict policy of notifying and/or deletion of inappropriate post or event creation. The rationale behind this is simple; we expect each individual to be respectful of the group as a whole. To keep this an open Facebook page we require that all members exercise self-control. All we ask that you follow these simple rules before posting:
1. Is it running related?
2. Was it a Seoul Flyer sponsored event?
3. Does it reflect positively on the Seoul Flyer Community?
If the answer is no to these three questions then you probably shouldn’t post it. Just to clarify it is ok to post about running related events that aren’t Seoul Flyer sponsored but if you are ever unsure about posting always feel free to ask one of our Board Members. In addition:
To create an Event on the Seoul Flyer Facebook page requires the approval of the Seoul Flyer Board. To post an event announcement on Facebook only requires approval from an active Seoul Flyer Board member. If you would like to post an announcement simply contact any active Board member prior to posting.
Members can post items for sale. Members can only sale running related items and may only post their items for sale 1 time a month.
Remember posting on our Facebook page is a privilege. Always be considerate of others when you post. Again if you are unsure of what to post feel free to ask… Enjoy Seoul Flyers!
