A few photos of the memorials and other things mum and I found in Newport and Carisbrooke. The ones commemorating Ralph and William Sawyer (Nannys uncles) are all listed and photographed on this site http://www.isle-of-wight-memorials.org.uk/ but it was amazing to go and find them. We only missed the scout hut and Carisbrooke castle. We also found Donald Abraham remembered on various memorials. He was married to Grandads sister and died when a bomb fell on Newport.
