The Broome Buy Sell & Swap Code of Conduct:
1.Businesses will be allowed ONE photo-ad in the Business Folder only.
2.BUMPING of ads is strictly every ONCE every 12 hours ONLY. Please remove excessive comments (we only need to see the last TWO *bumps* not the last 27)
3.Photos must be placed in the correct albums (or will be deleted on sight by admin). Only 1 Photo on the front page, Muliple Photos MUST go in the Albums Provided.
4.Members’ profiles need to allow for PMs to be received to make it easier for people to buy from you or sell things to you.
5.Any photo in excess of 21days old will be deleted.
6.Don't post an item more than once - it is confusing for the buyers when 6 people comment *first* on 6 different ads!
7.Offensive comments will be deleted instantly by admin and a strike issued to the member in question. Bullying of others will not be tolerated!!!!
8.This site is open to the whole Broome and surrounding areas (Derby and Fitzroy)region ONLY.
9.First in best dressed - no private pm's to seller to undercut people.
10.If a buyer asks a question about and item it is considered an interest to buy and this person has first option to buy or pass. The buyer has 24 Hours to respond. Unless the seller has stated a specific time. Tagging does not put that person in line until they post themselves.
11.No NAME and SHAME posts, these will be deleted and a warning issued.
12.No ALCOHOL to be sold UNLESS you have the relevant LICENCE - Same for offering Lifts for Money UNLESS you have a taxi license & Insurance - Illegal.
13.No member is to "hijack" another member's post.
14.This site operates on a three-strike policy. Three strikes - you're out.
15.This is not an ebay site therefore we do not "auction" off items for sale or :Make and Offer: - "Please place a price on your item and if you are flexible then place ONO next to the price."
16.It is illegal to Sell a Copy of any Digital Recording.
17.MOST IMPORTANTLY: If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
