I formally ask everyone involved in this group to be civil. We are diverse and disagreements are inevitable. However, we are all presumably here because we are people of the Left and want to transform society in progressive ways. It is therefore important that we approach one another with respect, not allowing our ideological differences to translate into attacks. Try to struggle over ideas without alienating group members with sectarianism. Matters of line should not be glossed over in an unprincipled "let's agree to disagree" fashion, but neither should they cause us to identify one another as enemies. Discussion should be geared toward mutual learning and the clarifying of important issues.
