The backstory is this; that my friends and I used to drive by on our motorcycles or old cars every weekend, as a break from classes. I myself most often went as a passenger on Vic's Kawasaki 900, free to enjoy the intoxicating ride above the Pacific, and to gaze on the happy scene glowing from Nepenthe on the cliff, but never once stopping on our way to challenge Jade Cove for it's treasures, and to roam the hills of Big Sur where we would camp overnight to wake to the awesome sight of such a morning of stunning beauty - we were young language students in Monterrey and just didn't imagine being able to afford a visit at Nepenthe's, and left it as something to do, another time, lol.
