Born June 1st 1882 in Peterhof, Russia, as the youngest child of H.I.H Emperor Alexander III and H.I.H Empress Maria Feodorovna, and the sister of H.I.H Emperor Nicholas II.
She grew up in Imperial Russia, escaped the revolution and arrived in Denmark in 1920. In 1948 was she once again emigrating and settled down in Canada, where she died in 1960.
She was a fantastic personality all through her life, a historical person and a skilled artist, well known for her paintings.
