This is a group of parents & care givers and a few adult children w/ Juvenile Myositis, including Juvenile Dermatomyositis, Juvenile Polymyositis, Amyopathic Juvenile Dermatomyositis.
We are all brought together by one common bond Juvenile Myositis. We are here to learn from each others experiences and offer support. We are not doctors, so any info given is what we ourselves may have experienced. Please seek medical attn. for diagnosis.

This is a private group. Please do not share personal info or stories on other forums or on your own personal page.
We will not add anyone under the age of 17 due to the sensitive nature of some of our posts.
Please do not add your friends or extended family to the group. We do have some grandparents here and that is because they are the primary caregiver for said child. Or help w/ the majority of there dr / hospital visits, medications ect.
PLEASE be polite in your posts. It may not be your opinion, but it is just that, an opinion. Others have different thoughts and we need to be respectful of everyone!
Please remember that this is the internet / FB please take that into consideration before post something.
I personally feel that this group is invaluable! Sometimes we need to vent or bounce a concern off of others who understand. Thank you all for being a part of the group.
We are NOT affiliated w/ any organizations! We do refer people to the correct org for info concerning JM.
There is to be NO soliciting of funds for personal use. Some members do, do fundraising events ect w/ all of the proceeds benefiting a foundation that supports finding a cure for JM.
