HEY GUYS. to stop the confusion of the messages i thought i'd put this idea out there.
Okay so Marion Bay falls tickets are like half the price of Lorne ones. I checked out flights the other day and it's about $150-200 return, so would probably equal out to be about the same price.
I know people are keen on having cars so i thought an idea would be to have one or two people take the boat with a car (or two) and then have everyone chip in (if we had a sick crew it wouldnt be more than like $50 each, probably less) to pay for the difference in taking the boat over a plane. Mum went one year and said they got specials that were only like $75 one way or something.
The other option is hiring a car once we get to Tassie just to have it for the festival (and again, everyone would chip in)
In conclusion, i think we should consider all going to Marion Bay because it would be a nice change of scenery (you can't tell me you're not sick of Lorne) and it's supposed to be really beautiful and chilled out (according to Mum, hehe. Nah but actually a few people have talked it up a bit) and yeah, it'd be cool to do something different.
