English is the main language of Pohang Legends (For teachers and their friends) facebook group. Having alot of group type in Facebook: close, open and secret and it is a CLOSED group. This group is strictly for fun and events in and around Pohang or which are relevant to Pohang members... As well as posting useful and interesting advice regarding getting around, setup administrative matters and just generally keeping in touch.
Please refer the the EPIK, TEFLERs in Gyeongbuk or Harmony of Languages groups for information pertaining to lesson plans and similar matters.
A few rules:
1. Anything goes, for the most part. Discussion among expats in Pohang or products/services posted by those promoting to foreigners in Pohang.
2. Members seeking to promote buy/sell, or businesses and services are welcome to do so, but with some caveats.
a) Don't promote excessively. Promoters who promote the same ad, each day, reduce the wall quality of their ads, plus gives another reason for members to not look at the overall wall, each day. If you post the same ad over and over during the same day or even once per day, we reserve the right to start removing your ads. If you make a meaningful effort to get creative and create engaging and responsive ads, then that's a step in the right direction. If your ad disappears for no reason, please refer back to this caveat.
b) For people looking to promote Buy/Sell items, please note that there is an existing group for this called Pohang Bazaar. If you also wish to post your buy/sell stuff here, then please upload and organize your photos into a single post, and not post individual photos over several posts.
3. Discussion about issues not directly related to living in Pohang or Korea is permitted, as long as the discussions are involving members living in Korea.
4. We reserve the right to remove posts or ban members if it involves trolling, inflammatory comments, etc...This does not mean that we immediately will jump up and do something each time that a member complains about another member. But we'll do our best to take an impartial and unbiased view of the situation before determining what to do, if anything. This also includes spamming the wall with posts that are not to the benefit of the group.
