The AWG- Mona Lisa art club was formed in November 2011, and has grown from a single digit number club into a wonderful vibrant group of over 40 members.
It is an art club for ladies only.
New members are welcome provided you sign up for the American Women's Group - AWG and then become a member of the Mona Lisa Art club.
The Members of the Mona Lisa art club are from all over the globe, the interaction between them gives birth to new and exciting forms of art and design.
Each artist brings her own style of painting, her own culture and inspirations to this wonderful melting pot!
The few objectives for the Mona Lisa art club are as follows:
To provide a creative environment for like minded ladies to share thoughts and ideas.
To provide a platform for up coming artists
To be instrumental and inspirational to each other to create beautiful art
To be a platform to encourage and support young Omani ( Women) Artists
To donate a percentage of all sales generated by the exhibition to a charitable cause.
Since our inception, we had held 4 extremely successful exhibitions and have donated to charities such as The Environmental Society of Oman and The Center for Omani Dress to name a few.
