The USA Troubadours is composed of a select group of bonafide Augustinians from the USA Choir who hail from the different departments of the University and are privileged with music scholarship. Since 1972, the group had established itself with a real history of accolades received and memorable performances in the city and province of Iloilo. They gained acclaim in the National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA) in 1996 where they won Third Place. The Same feat was repeated in the 29th NAMCYA Competition November 2002. The choir was adjudged as National Champion during the “WOW Philippines! Himig Pinoy!” (The Best of the Best Choral Competition) of the Department of Tourism on December 19,2003. They bagged Third Runner Up in the 2011 MBC Paskong Himig Pinoy National Choral Competition and recently, the choir earned 3 Golds for Mixed (Category Winner), Chamber (Category Winner) and Folk Categories in the recently concluded VII Orientale Concentus - Singapore on July 9-13, 2014.
