As a first-time Mommy who works full-time, I found the support I needed to ease my confusion, guilt, questions, and funny stories was split between various other Mommy groups. I would post my Mommy-working questions, stories, concerns, and needs hoping someone would be able to answer between the breastfeeding and baby-led-weaning posts. I was shocked to discover how little support there is for working moms to unite together and help one another through the difficulty of choosing - or needing - to make a living while raising a family.
This groups intention is to bring those of us together who by virtue of need or desire, don't stay at home. This group isn't meant to debate the topic of stay at home versus work, it's simply a place to privately share the thoughts, feelings, and questions that working Mom's have at any stage of motherhood.
It is also a place for those who are more experienced to help those that are brand new to the concept. If your kids are older but you've been here, done that - there are a lot of us that need your wisdom, strength, and reminder that we are doing the right thing and that everything is going to be okay.
My hope is that this is where working moms of all stages in life are able to work together to help one another through all things working... and Mom.
