This group was created as an outlet for parents to buy, sell, and trade formula, baby food, and diapers in the Virginia Beach area. YES, you can sell!
There are just a few rules:
1. There is to be absolutely NO selling of samples of formula, or of formula checks. These are distributed for free by formula companies in hopes that you'll chose them for your child's nutritional needs. You CAN trade them for the brand you'd like.
2. It is recommended that you return any unused formula and baby food you receive from WIC to your local WIC office. It is illegal to sell (or even give away) unused product from WIC. *please note, this is a recommendation. Some business mark WIC items with a sticker, but unless it is clear that the item is WIC accusations or finger pointing will not be tolerated. Let's just count on everyone to do the right thing.*
3. Whether you're ISO or selling your post MUST include either formula, baby food, bottles and accessories, and diapering items(diapers, both disposable or cloth. Wipes and rash creams). Posts outside these items will be removed. (Example: do not post that you have a car seat for sale or trade for clothing or a swing. Car seat for sale or trade of Similac advance etc is ok. Or Similac advance for sale or trade of a car seat is fine). This is not a baby yard sale site. It was intended to help with nutrional and diapering needs, not to be a free for all trade site.
4. All formula and baby food must be within expiration.
5. The seller/poster decides who their items go to. It is recommended you go in order of interest shown.
6. Please only take an item if you TRULY need it. Everyone in the group has needs and taking any or all kinds of formula, for example, because you know you could trade or sell it on another site will not be tolerated. This has been happening and these members will start being removed.
7. 24 hour bump rule! Placing a . or liking your own post counts as a bump.
