Hi my name is Aiden John Ferrier I was born on 26th September 2011. I live in Methil with my Mummy Debbie Ferrier, Daddy John Ferrier and my Big Sister Nicole.
We need your help!
I have a condition called Plagiocephaly is a condition characterized by an asymmetrical distortion (flattening of one side) of the skull.
My doctors have suggested various methods to try and correct this but unfortunately it has not worked. The only other thing to do is to get a special helmet made to help reshape my skull over a period of time, as i am only a few months old my skull is still soft, after i turn 1 my skull will become hard making it impossible to reshape it.
There are going to be a number of events over the next few months to help raise the money to pay for this as the helmet alone can cost £2500. The NHS being the NHS they will not pay for this as it's not classed as a life threatening condition. So, my Mummy and Daddy are going to have to rely on friends, family and public transport to take me to a private hospital in Glasgow to receive the treatment required.
