The course meets four days a week at The American Institute of Architecture, in Greenwich Village, one of the trendiest and most exciting parts of New York City. Students live within walking distance in nearby NYU dorms. There are no prerequisites for the course. You will earn 10 quarter units--Sociology 191NY: Urban and Suburban Sociology and Sociology 191R: Sociology of Culture. Also, you may take an optional course: 4 quarter units Sociology 199: Directed Research
