男少年军与女少年军泗里街第一分队成立于1969年5月，由诗巫第一分队的队员所引进。初始，共有25位男生与25位女生多数来自圣安东尼学校，主日学，青团及少团来参加第一次的聚会。林添福先生和陈国芬女士分别担任男少年军与女少年军的第一任队长。
很不幸，于1970年，因军官们出外深造及做工，迫使泗里街第一分队关闭。不过，一些还热心少年军事工的前队员要求当时卫理英华学校的教师，钟武禄先生复办少年军。复办后的第一次聚会是在9/5/1971，并由Mr. James Singam Rajah担任男少年军队长及陈国芬女士继续担任女少年军队长。。。

The Boys’ Brigade and The Girls’ Brigade, 1st Sarikei Company was formed sometime in May, 1969 when some of the BB 1st Sibu Company members brought down the idea. There were 25 boys and 25 girls mostly from St. Anthony Secondary School, Sunday School, MYF and MJF coming for the first meeting with Mr. Stephen Lim Tiam Hock as BB Captain and Mdm. Angela Tan Kok Han as GB Captain.
Unfortunately, in 1970, 1st Sarikei Company had to close down when majority of officers left for work & further studies in other places. But some of the former Boys still interest in BB, requested a teacher from SRB Methodist Anglo Chinese, Mr. Daniel Chung Ah Brooke to help in reviving the Company. The first meeting was on 9th May 1971 with Mr. James Singam Rajah as BB Captain and Mdm. Angela Tan still remaining as GB Captain…
