Eloge Kibikonda a.k.a. “kibistone” is a musician (singer, rapper) who was born on November 4th 1988 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. From the age of 11, KIBISTONE contracted the virus of music and raised attention by his writing skills and his interpretation of national and international artists.
Very quickly his talent grew, which can be seen by the maturity of his texts, by his sharpened and precised rimes, by his flow and by his powerful and unique voice.
Very soon, success will come running! “Kibistone” conquers the stages of local schools and suburbs of Kinshasa. That is the beginning of the “ kibistonic ” fever. Motivated and decided to make it in the musical industry, 2007 is probably the most crucial year of his career, with the creation and formation of “the 75th division” in MAZAL, a suburb of Kinshasa. A band essentially made of youngsters from MAZAL better known as “warriors of Kinshasa’s rap”. The band became so famous that well known artists ended up collaborating with them on their viby and club banging hits, such as Werra Son and Fally Ipupa which made people realise kibistone’s talent and professionalism.
Kibistone and the 75th division are now demanded on the streets of Kinshasa, from the youth that yells, screams and is involved in many fights and rebellions.
